An elderly couple sits together on a sofa in a warmly lit living room, holding hands and smiling. The woman wears a blue blazer, and the man wears a bright green shirt. A lamp and decorative plate are visible in the background.

Because Caregivers Need Support, Too

This robust online family support e-library provides helpful information to anyone caring for a family member or friend.

In our work as Aging Life Care Managers, we recognize that caregivers need supports in a variety of areas. Each day we hear from family members trying to get a better understanding of their loved one’s illness and how to care for them as it progresses. Spouses and partners call us asking for information on ways to keep their loved one at home with them. Then there are the nieces, nephews, granddaughters, grandsons and in-laws, looking for tips and tools to help their family members cope with the challenges of Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and other conditions. Just as often, there are professionals in the field of aging, such as elder law attorneys, financial advisors, and medical professionals, who want to provide more resources and suggestions to help support their clients. We recognize that caregiver education is an important first step for many. This free information service meets the needs of caregivers in all capacities by providing them with valuable online resources at their fingertips. Our e-library is especially designed to help family caregivers and professionals, by offering evidence-based information on a wide variety of topics.
