Debra Levy Eldercare Associates was cited in the May/June Bethesda Magazines Health Section in an article which described our care management role in helping Ann Cochran with her father as he faced mental and physical health challenges. She tells the story of her 88 year old father and his cognitive decline, and how she and her brother made the decision that he couldn’t live safely on his own anymore. They started with an in-home caregiver and Meals on Wheels, but the costs were getting high, and they decided they needed to understand what the alternatives were. Ann heard about Debra Levy Eldercare Associates during a panel discussion about caregiving at her church and made an appointment to meet with Susy Murphy. The article details how we provided support to her through her caregiving journey and details many of the resources she contacted. Read the whole article.
