He Had a Great Passion for Jerusalem

Thomas Fisher dedicated over 40 years to crafting “Jerusalem: The Golden,” a book born from his two Holy Land expeditions in the late 70s and 80s, which ignited his fascination with the subject. Alongside his literary pursuits, Thomas is an avid traveler and photography enthusiast, with captivating snapshots from his Limerick, Ireland journey.

Before retiring from a technical career, he drew from his World History studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University, biblical insights, and extensive reading about Jerusalem to fuel his research. Thomas found validation in Dr. Werner Keller’s “The Bible As History In Pictures,” especially regarding the Assyrian siege of Jerusalem in 701 B.C.E. He also gleaned insights from publications like Biblical Archaeology Review and Archaeology, enriching his comprehensive narrative. His life is a blend of scholarly dedication, a passion for exploration, and a keen eye for photography.
